Service
Accessibility Consulting Hours
Time with our team for accessibility questions that don't fit an audit, like planning a roadmap, choosing a booking tool or checking a fix your developer made. One hourly rate, and a written summary after every call.
Who it's for
- You want a plan for what to fix first and what can wait.
- You're choosing a booking, chat or plugin vendor and want one your customers can use with a keyboard and a screen reader.
- You're deciding whether to rebuild your site or fix the one you have.
- Your developers are making fixes and have questions along the way.
- You have an audit, from us or another firm, and want help planning the work.
- You aren't sure what your accessibility statement or policy should say.
What you get
An accessibility roadmap
A plan for what to fix first, what can wait, and who does each part, measured against WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Vendor choices
Help choosing booking, chat and plugin vendors, including what to ask them about accessibility before you sign.
Rebuild or fix
A plain answer on whether your current site is worth fixing or a rebuild makes more sense.
Statement and policy questions
What your accessibility statement and policy should cover. Legal wording is for your attorney.
Developer questions and code review
Answers for your developers, and a review of a pull request or theme change before it goes live.
Fix checks
We check a fix your developer made with a keyboard and screen readers, and tell you what's left.
A written summary
Within 1 business day of each call: what we covered, what we found and the next steps.
How it works
Book
Tell us what you need help with, and we agree how many hours to book.
Share
Send what you'd like us to look at: links, designs, a pull request or an earlier audit.
Call
We meet on a video call. Your developers and designers are welcome to join.
Summary
Within 1 business day, you get a written summary with what we covered and the next steps.
How long it takes: We reply the next business day. Consulting hours are booked with a 2-hour minimum, and your written summary arrives within 1 business day of each call.
What it doesn't include
- Legal advice or legal strategy. Your attorney decides legal questions, and we work alongside them.
- A full audit. That's the Accessibility Audit, with testing by people, a dated report and an issue log.
- Making the fixes, beyond small ones. Small fixes are $150 an hour, and larger work is Remediation, quoted after an audit.
- Visits in person. Every call is remote.

Questions
What can we use consulting hours for?
Any accessibility question that isn't a full audit or a fix job: a roadmap, vendor choices, rebuild-or-fix decisions, statement and policy questions, your developers' questions, reviewing a pull request or theme change, or checking a fix.
Can you check a fix our developer made?
Yes. We check it with a keyboard and screen readers, then tell you in writing what works and what's left to do.
Can you help us choose a booking or chat tool?
Yes. We look at the options you're considering with a keyboard and screen readers and tell you what we find. We can't change a vendor's code, but we can tell you what to ask them.
We already have an audit from another firm. Can you help?
Yes. We check it first in consulting hours, at $150 an hour, then quote the fixes.
Is this legal advice?
No. We provide technical accessibility services, not legal advice or legal strategy. Questions about what the law requires go to your attorney.
