Accessibility Team Training

Live sessions for the people who keep your site up to date, taught on your own pages. Each role learns what to check and how to fix it, so new content doesn't add new barriers.

Who it's for

  • Your team adds pages, posts, products or PDFs every week.
  • You've had an audit or fixes and want new content to stay accessible.
  • Your designers are planning a redesign or new pages.
  • Your developers are building new features and want to avoid repeat issues.
  • You'd rather learn on your own site than from a generic course.

What you get

  • A session for content editors

Headings, link text, alt text, PDFs and video captions, shown on your own pages.

  • A session for designers

Color contrast, focus states, type and motion, using your own pages and brand colors.

  • A session for developers

Semantic HTML, forms and error messages, keyboard and focus, ARIA used sparingly, and testing with a screen reader.

  • A half-day developer option

When your developers need more time, a half-day session goes deeper into your own code.

  • The recording and the slides

Watch it again later, or share it with people who join your team after the session.

  • A one-page checklist per role

What to check before you publish, written for each role and based on WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

  • An attendance list

A list of who attended each session, for your records.

How it works

  1. Plan

Tell us who's coming and what they work on. We agree the session for each role and a date.

  2. Prepare

We build the examples from your own site, so your team learns on the pages they work on.

  3. Teach

A live, remote session for up to 10 people, with time for questions.

  4. Follow up

You get the recording, the slides, a one-page checklist for each role and an attendance list.

How long it takes: We reply the next business day. Each session is 90 minutes, live and remote. Developers can book a half-day session instead.

What it doesn't include

  • A self-paced course library. Every session is live, with a person teaching and answering questions.
  • An audit of your site. We teach from your pages, but a session doesn't test your whole site.
  • Fixing your site. That's Remediation, or your own developers can use what they learn here.
  • Sessions in person. Every session is remote.

Questions

Which session should we start with?

Start with the people who change your site most often. For most businesses, that's content editors, because they add new pages, posts and PDFs every week.

Can more than 10 people join?

Each session is for up to 10 people. For a bigger team, book more than one session.

Is the session recorded?

Yes. You keep the recording and the slides, so people who join your team later can watch it too.

Do you teach developers to use ARIA?

Yes, and to use it sparingly. Plain HTML, like a real button or a label, comes first. Used wrongly, ARIA can make a page harder to use with a screen reader.

Will our team be able to audit our site after this?

No. Training helps your team avoid new barriers and spot common ones. An audit is a separate, in-depth test of your page templates and key journeys with a keyboard and screen readers.

Tell us your website. We'll run an automated check of up to 10 key pages and walk you through what we found. It's an automated check that finds only some issues, not an audit.
